Two and a Half Men is to come to an end after twelve seasons, CBS announced today as the network unveiled its fall schedule. CBS renewed the show for its twelfth season back in March, amid speculation it would be the show's final season.
Thursday Night Football will be taking over CBS's Thursday night schedule between September 11 and October 23. The network will launch an expanded two-hour comedy block from October 30. Chuck Lorre's The Big Bang Theory, which is beginning its eighth season on Monday nights, kicks off Thursday night at 8, followed by the second season of The Millers at 8:30. Two and a Half Men is moving to the 9 o'clock time period, followed by a new sitcom, The McCarthys, at 9:30. Elementary stays at 10 to finish the night.
CBS's Nina Tassler said Two and a Half Men producer Chuck Lorre has a lot of surprises planned for Men's final season, but said she is not sure whether Charlie Sheen would be returning to the show.
