Sheen arrested after domestic violence claims
Charlie Sheen was yesterday arrested in the ski resort of Aspen after claims of domestic violence.
Sheen was arrested after an emergency call from a house in Aspen. An ambulance went to the house, but left empty. Aspen Police have not named the accuser, citing department policy to protect potential victims of domestic violence.
Police say the actor is suspected of assault, menacing and criminal mischief. He was released on $8,500 bail.
Sheen was previously arrested in 1996 for assaulting a women. He has also had charges of drink and drug driving, and has spent time in rehab. Sheen is the son of Martin Sheen and brother of Emilio Estevez, both actors. In 1998, his father turned him in after the actor violated his parole conditions and overdosed on cocaine.
