CBS announces fall line-up
CBS has today announced their fall line-up at the Upfronts in New York, with a shock move for The Big Bang Theory.
Two and a Half Men will, as completely expected, keep its 9:00 slot, where it remains TV's number one comedy. It will, however, be joined in the 9 o'clock hour by a new companion, The Big Bang Theory.
The Big Bang Theory, co-created by Men's co-creator Chuck Lorre, will take the 9:30 slot, further cementing the 2 year-old show as an up-and-coming success. Big Bang aired at 9:30 once this season, where it performed very well, retaining over 85% of Men's audience.
The night in full: How I Met Your Mother will kick off the night at 8, Accidentally on Purpose - a new sitcom with Jenna Elfman airs at 8:30, Two and a Half Men stays at 9, and The Big Bang Theory moves to 9:30. CSI: Miami rounds out the night.
