Season 7 DVD package art revealed

Warner Home Video revealed the details of the forthcoming Two and a Half Men: Season 7 DVD yesterday, but package art for the DVD wasn't yet available. Amazon.com today uploaded cover-art for the DVD.

The artwork hasn't been revealed by Warner so it might change. The cover can be seen in higher quality at Amazon.com. You can pre-order the DVD today for just $28.99 at Amazon.com.

Season 7 DVD Announced

Warner Home Video has announced the details for the upcoming release of Two and a Half Men: Season 7 on DVD, TVShowsOnDVD.com reports. The DVD will hit stores in the United States & Canada on September 21st.

The twenty two episodes from the 2009/10 season will presented across 3 discs. Bonus features are a gag reel and a "Ghosts of Charlie's Girlfriends Past" featurette. The cover-art for the set is not yet available.

The DVD looks set to be released in Australia later this year, although retailers are currently reporting conflicting release dates. No date has yet been revealed for a UK release. Comedy Central UK isn't airing the second half of Season 7 until the Autumn, meaning it's unlikely the DVD will be out before then.

Season 6 DVD Announced

TVShowsonDVD.com is reporting the release date of Two and a Half Men: Season 6 DVD in the U.S. & Canada. The 4-disc DVD will be released on September 1st.

They also revealed the extras that will be present on the DVD: a Gag Reel, "Growing up Harper" - a featurette about Angus T. Jones and his character, and "The Women of Two and a Half Men" - a featurette looking at Two and a Half Men's women.

Amazon posts Season 6 pre-order info

Amazon.com has posted limited information about the Two and a Half Men: Season 6 DVD, giving North American consumers their first chance to pre-order the DVD. No release date is given, but the cover-art is provided and matches that of the planned release in the United Kingdom. Amazon is taking pre-orders at $41.99 ($59.98 RRP), which is quite a bit higher than previous releases, I would be quite surprised if the price is not significantly lower when the DVD is officially announced by Warner Bros.

Season 6 will be released in the U.K. on October 5th, it can be pre-ordered now for just £13.98. North American consumers should expect to see the DVD a little while before Season 7 starts. Official word from the studio should come within the next month or so.

Warner officially announces Season 5 DVD

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have officially announced Two and a Half Men: The Complete Fifth Season.

Two and a Half Men: The Complete Fifth Season opens with Charlie (Charlie Sheen) topping the charts as kiddie-song sensation Charlie Waffles. Alan (Jon Cryer) at last meets the perfect woman - who just happens to be dating Charlie. Jake (Angus T. Jones) starts junior high, armed with reams of "helpful" advice from Alan and Charlie, while Evelyn (Holland Taylor) ties the knot for the fifth time (lots of guests at the wedding, lots of cops at the reception). Complicating matters further are Alan's deeply neurotic ex-wife, Judith (Marin Hinkle), and Charlie's domineering, unapologetically blue-collar housekeeper, Berta (Conchata Ferrell). The guys are in and the welcome mat is out at everyone's favorite Malibu beach house.

Season 5 DVD Extras Revealed

TVShowsonDVD.com has revealed the extras that will be featured on the Season 5 DVD of Two and a Half Men, announced a few days ago.

Included is the CSI Crossover episode, a featurette on the show reaching 100 episodes, a featurette looking at the genesis & evolution of Chuck Lorre's vanity cards and a featurette about the CSI crossover episode.

The fifth season will be released on DVD in the United States on May 12th, you can pre-order it now at Amazon.com. The DVD will also be released in the United Kingdom on April 13th, you can pre-order it now at Amazon.co.uk.

Season 5 DVD Release Revealed

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced the release of Two and a Half Men: Season 5 on DVD on May 12th, bringing the DVD releases in-line with the television broadcasts. The first season was released on Region 1 DVD in September 2007 and over the past 16 months three more seasons have been released. Season 6 could now be released, as is current tradition, in September before the next season starts.

TVShowsonDVD.com reports that the 19-episode set will be released in anamorphic wide-screen with 5.1 surround sound. There is no word right now of any extras.
