About
Two and a Half Men is an Emmy Award nominated American TV show. Two and a Half Men airs on CBS, America's number #1 network, and is America's #1 sitcom. The show was renewed for 3 seasons, an almost unprecedented pick-up, in March 2009, taking it through to its 9th season in 2011/12.
Two and a Half Men follows brothers Alan (Jon Cryer) & Charlie (Charlie Sheen). Alan, separated from his wife, is forced to move in, with his child, to Charlie's house. Charlie is a well-to-do bachelor with an easy way with women. His sex-filled casual Malibu lifestyle is hampered by Alan, and his son Jake (Angus T. Jones). Complicating matters further are Charlie and Alan's narcissistic, emotionally toxic mother, Evelyn; Alan's deeply neurotic ex-wife, Judith and Charlie's domineering, apologetically blue-collar housekeeper, Berta. Despite the complexities of their lives and their own strained relationship, Charlie and Alan have one thing in common - they both love Jake and want what's best for him. As a result, they manage to create a little family unit that promises to make each of them a better man.
The show was created by Chuck Lorre ("The Big Bang Theory") and Lee Aronsohn ("Grace under Fire"). It is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions & The Tannenbaum Company in association with Warner Bros. Television.
Two and a Half Men stars Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones, Holland Taylor, Marin Hinkle & Conchata Ferrell.
